The Chefserve Mobile Picking App Now Available
The new Chefserve App is designed to eliminate paper picking lists and enable you to organise your pickers and picking routines for maximum efficiency and speed.
Options screens within the Chefserve ERP solution allow you to configure the picking app to the way you want to work. You can assign by depot, the products, and their different sale type (Box, Single, Weight) to different picking screens / methods, e.g. Splits, Shorts, Bulks, Prepared, Dairy, Frozen, Dry Goods, and JIT or VIP Orders.
Each Picking Method has its own picking screen on the Tablet App (see below), which lists the orders by, route and customer, or route and product. Products can be picked, part picked, shorted, and sent to a shortage section.
Stock checking / allocation of stock is also completed via the app upon picking of the product. When the quantity picked of any product is entered, stock will be allocated off the product (FIFO).
If picker records that there is no stock to pick, the Chefserve Mobile Picking App will check and alert the picker by displaying where the available stock is located. Similarly, if a quantity entered is more than required, an alert will pop up.
Pickers can tap on a line to see product images and further details to assist them. Unpicked lines appear white, picked lines appear green and once an item is picked it will be moved to the bottom of the screen, shorted / not fully picked lines will appear red.
Wasted or written off stock can also be recorded via the app. When an order is fully picked there is an option to print box labels, and a picking note, if required.
Finally, there are screens to assist with the loading of customer orders onto delivery routes/vehicles.
Available now – the Chefserve Mobile Picking App for foodservice is fully integrated with the Chefserve ERP solution and also includes comprehensive reporting and KPI statistics to allow you to monitor Picking/loading progress at a glance.
