New Freshware Features Coming Soon
Below we provide a brief preview of each of the new features. As always, these are best viewed via a software demonstration, so contact us to book yours today.
Best Before Date
We have added the ability to verify the Best Before Date at point of scanning the product for order allocation.
This new module will offer 3 scenarios based on the Best Before Date static data set up and delivery date:
- If product is out of date – a pop up message to user (on handheld device). displaying the product is out of date and cannot be used.
- In date – allows the user to allocate.
- In date +1,2,3 – a pop up message informing the user that stock in date is still available – with options to continue by supervisor override or scan a different pallet.
- There is also the option to view to the available pallets with a correct bb date. This is via a stock lookup list and will display all available stock with “in date” pallets first but will never display the out of date stock (see below).
Production By Order By Depot
When a production job is created, and the quantity required is entered, this module will allow the user to pre allocate production quantity based on depot order quantity and prioritise which are to be completed first.
When stock is produced and linked with a customer depot and order number, the Dispatch Screen will indicate that the product will be reserved for the specific depot. This will also be displayed at the top of the list on the Stock Lookup Screen.
Dynamic Order/Pallet Loading to Load
We have been asked by multiple customers to provide dynamic loading, instead of the current preset options.
The pallets are loaded to vehicle at the point of scanning and allocating the product. This method will allow the users to load as per availability of product.
In addition, we will provide users with snapshot information (highlighted below) on what is available so they can efficiently organise the required transport. Many customers have limited order picking space, and it is important to load as soon possible after the product is available.
Production Jobs Import
As the Marketing Desk allows the user to import an unlimited number of production jobs directly from an Excel report, provided from the Packhouse, they will be able to import:
- Raw material used – verifying consignment, supplier, qty used. Automatically calculating the return to stock (if any) and recording the waste against the raw material.
- Produced qty – automatically apportioned towards the consignments and used to create the total final qty of finished goods (Class 1 and 2).
- Waste cost calculation.
- Packaging (boxes) cost calculation.
- Packing cost calculation – using a dynamic cost template and based on % waste calculation.
