New Partnership Offers Customers Reduced Costs

11th October, 2022, Sittingbourne, UK:  Affinitus, the market leading provider of business management software solutions for the fresh produce, food, and horticulture industries, today announces a new partnership agreement, with Apogee – An HP Company, to further extend the benefit portfolio it delivers to its customers.

Affinitus has joined Apogee’s Affinity Plus Partnership Programme. Under this agreement Affinitus will be able to offer its customers a beneficial introduction to Apogee’s three core services: Managed Print Services, Outsourced Document Services and Managed IT Services.

Affinitus and Apogee identified a synergy amongst joint user bases. Companies in the fresh produce or food wholesale and distribution industry will print thousands of pick & packing sheets, route & loading plans, invoices and delivery notes around the clock, every day – therefore, reliable print device performance is absolutely key.

However, the reality is that most organisations of this type will be relying on a mixed fleet of print devices, with some not covered by any kind of service plan: resulting in costly delays and downtime in the event of any technical issues.

Affinitus can now offer its customers a site audit with Apogee to assess print requirements & usage, offering a tailored managed print solution which, in most cases, can reduce print spend and remove any upfront hardware costs, supported by innovative remote device monitoring for proactive support and automatic consumables replenishment.

One such mutual customer already benefitting from reduced costs in areas such as Managed Print is I. A. Harris & Son, a fresh produce foodservice supplier based in New Covent Garden Market. After talking with Apogee, I. A. Harris now enjoy a 45% reduction in print spend, with no upfront costs, all brand new, efficient equipment under one consolidated managed print solution and automatic toner reordering software, ensuring that no machines run out overnight. In addition, a further benefit of the Affinitus-Apogee partnership, is that the resulting Managed Print Solution is designed to be compatible with the customers’ existing Affinitus ERP system.

Speaking about their Managed Print Solution with Apogee;

We can’t thank Apogee enough for helping us to make the leap with an MPS solution. We’ve managed to nearly halve our print spending budget without paying anything upfront... and considering that we operate for 24 hours most days in the week, having 24/7 support included in the price is a huge help to us.”
