Packhouse and Pre-Pack Production

Pre-pack costing provides comprehensive labour analysis, product yield calculation, traceability and cost control functionality.

Accumulated production quantities from labour postings are compared with daily despatches, production allocation and stock count, providing stock reconciliation routines. Overhead recoveries cater for direct and indirect costs. Combining packaging material, transport and raw material costs offers accurate and timely data. Labour postings integrate directly into the Payroll module and include support for both gangs and sub-contract workers.

Placing your telesales team in control

This module is designed to enable telesales operatives to take orders based on the use of catalogues and/or price lists. Customer PLOF (Price List Order Forms) are available on screen, mirroring the customers specific order form, plus any previous order history. This gives the operator the benefit of only needing to key in the quantity field, which greatly increases order entry speed.

Call schedules can be setup to ensure the customer is called on time and on a day that suits their schedule, with the facility to enter call back times if necessary.

Promotions can be pre-set into the system with start and end dates. They can be called upon at any time during the sales order process, with the operator needing only to enter the quantity required.

Grower Pooling and Co-operatives

This module is designed to handle payment for brassicas and other produce, packed either in the field or the pack-house, where pools are calculated over consecutive fixed length periods.

Payments are calculated by deducting costs, either standard or actual, from the revenue obtained from the sale of members produce. The resultant net pool value can then be shared out, on a pro-rata basis, according to individual input. Charges specific to individual growers may be deducted before final payment is made. The module contains comprehensive report and document production facilities, many of them definable to suit customer needs.

Touch Screen Warehouse Management Systems

Charging customers correct amount for goods they receive.

This module is designed on a touchscreen. It allows the pickers in a warehouse to view orders that have been processed for the night. They are able to go into an existing order and confirm whether an item can be picked or they do not have that item in stock.

The Touchscreen is also attached to a pair of weigh scales, this is so that the pickers can put the weighted items on the scales and if the item weighs over or under what the customer has ordered then it will change the price of that line to be in keeping with the weight. The Items that aren’t in stock once picked will appear on a shortages report which will go the buyer, giving him a clear understanding of the Items he has to buy.

The touchscreen can be used to pick separate categories e.g. Bulks, Splits & Weighted Items or It can be used to pick all categories. The picking process can be designed to work with any customer’s warehouse.

Business Growth Management

The five-year plan is a management tool which allows your senior executives to forecast the growth of the company. It provides the basis of presentations to your customers in a format already accepted by them.

It comprises of the following:

  • Facility to create sales forecasts per customer/product and to breakdown those products by week/month/year as required.
  • Facility to create supplier database with full pesticide reporting and history of audit reports completed, including documents and photographs as required.
  • Suppliers can be approved/de-listed against specific customers.

The system then enables a drill-down function allowing the user to pick any period in time for the whole company, or a particular customer, and drill down to see how that information may be broken down. It will then automatically review the supply base to ensure that the suppliers are predicting supply that will meet demand.

The Sales Forecasting module is a facility for generating, manipulating and recording short-term sales forecasts. It is intended as an aid to both procurement and production planning and provides output in a number of forms, including reports, emails and interfaces to spreadsheets.
