Chefserve chosen as ERP software for foodservice giant
Executive summary
Chefserve by Affinitus Group has been chosen as the ERP Software to run new foodservice giant, The Menu Partners.
The Menu Partners has been formed with a 50-50 Merger between Absolute Tastes owned by Nigel Harris and Premier Group owned by Jason Tanner is “designed to be the new leading food sourcing, procurement and distribution partner to hotels, pubs and restaurants across the UK”. Nigel Harris is former owner of the leading foodservice company Fresh Direct.
The Menu Partners, which was formed at the beginning of September 2020, will now work out of The Shed in Bicester, New Covent Garden Market and Brighton, with an additional logistics site, also in Bicester, scheduled to open in August or September 2021.
The Chefserve software will run all aspects of the business including Sales Order Processing through various EDI providers, Stock, Logistics and Transport (which will also utilise the Vanlogik driver and epod apps) through to barcoded warehousing across multi depots, and finally they will utilise the Affinitus Financials across all departments.
The Premier Group has been supplying fresh fruit and vegetables to the catering and hospitality industry from their depots at New Covent Garden Market, Brighton and Oxford for nearly 20 years, Meanwhile, Absolute Taste caters for a host of British and international sporting events – including The Open Championship and every F1 race around the world – as well as a number of hospitality chains such as Hilton Hotels & Resorts, Fuller’s and Soho House.
Both the Freshware and Chefserve software have been previously used throughout the group, but they will take full use of the logistics modules usually employed by some of the Affinitus larger clients serving the UK multiples.
