About the Role: Finance (ERP) Software Consultant & Trainer
This role will participate in the full implementation and training lifecycle for software implementations for our integrated Financial Suite within our ERP solution portfolio. This will include presales support, solution implementation, set up & design, as well as the design, development, and delivery of training programmes (in person & online) to the finance departments of our ERP clients.
The candidate will be educated to degree level and should have a finance/technical background and strong IT skills. The candidate should be a first-rate communicator, with the ability to explain complex concepts in a straightforward way. The candidate must be able to communicate with senior management positions, such as Finance Directors and CFOs, and understand the preparation of company accounts and financial reporting. This person must be a proactive, self-learner seeking to stay up to date on new software features, implementation practices, product roadmaps and training techniques.
The candidate must provide proof that they have the right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities of the Role:
- Presales Support for software demonstrations and solution scoping.
- Assistance with solution implementations.
- Delivery of training and consultation services to new and existing clients. This will be On-site, On-line and via telephone, some travel to customers site UK-wide will be expected.
- Host webinars and online training sessions.
- The development and maintenance of standard course curriculums and learning materials, both online and offline, written, and visual.
- Support and contribute to the management of the client knowledgebase, training programs and the development of technical documentation, videos, training manuals and other company documentation.
- Support the design and delivery of internal employee learning courses, workshops, and other trainings.
- Updating existing training materials to incorporate new software features, or regulatory requirements.
- Assist with establishing best practices, templates, policies, tools, and partnerships to expand and mature these capabilities for the organization.
- Ensure project methodology are executed effectively within the capacity of the Professional Services role.

Requirements
Knowledge and Experience
- Degree educated ideally in Maths, Computer Science, Business, Economics, Finance and Accounting or related subjects.
- 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
- To be able to understand the principles of business finance and accounting, including statutory reporting, to advise and assist customers with Finance related issues.
- To have advanced skills in data manipulation in MS-Excel for collating data to be imported into the software.
- To be able to train in 1-2-1 or in group/classroom scenarios
- Must be fluent in English.
- Outstanding listening, verbal, and written communication skills.
- Methodical project management skills.

£50K-£80K per year depending on skills and experience
