Chefserve Demand Planner Module Now Available –
The Demand Planner allows you to complete all purchases / buying within one screen for all suppliers.
The Chefserve Demand Planner module enables you to see future product sales by date range, and also the next 7 days in individual columns. In addition, it also displays the last 7, 14, 21, 28 and 35 days sales totals, and an average last 7 days total.
You can sort / filter the screen to complete your purchasing individually by product, by product group, (e.g., Dairy, Prep, Fresh, Dry etc), by usual supplier, last supplier, or just by products that need purchasing.
The current stock is shown, and product purchases already placed can be shown by date range selected. Purchase quantities can be entered manually or SOQ (Suggested Order Quantity) can be used to auto calculate the quantity the system believes you should be purchasing to fulfil the orders.
The “Basket” Screen
Once selected for purchase all products added to the “basket” will appear on this screen, grouped by supplier.
Within the Basket screen you can:
- Amend the delivery date of selected products, this action will generate multiple purchase orders for that same supplier for each delivery date.
- Change product cost prices and quantities.
- Removed items from the basket by pressing the X button on the product line.
- Either individually select or multi select the product you wish to process / create purchase orders for, by using the select tick box.
- Click the Submit button to create the purchase orders. Purchase orders will be auto emailed to the supplier if they have an email address set on their account, if not a prompt will pop up asking for one to be entered. This process will create a PO on the Chefserve system.
